Ask the right questions to a tech
Keep a repair history of your device, so the tech knows what has been done to it, since there is a chance the current problem was due to the last repair.
How often does the problem occur? If it happens often, it can be easier to repair.
When did the problem first and last occur? Same answer as the previous question.
