Good Nutrition for Arthritis Sufferers, Week 01 2nd March 2021

Good afternoon all,

Following on from Joan Faria’s excellent talk yesterday, please find below some of the slides used during the presentation. It was a lot to take in in a short amount of time, so please feel free to go through these at your leisure and take notes if you wish. I have separated out some of the recipe slides for those who don’t have the time to go through the whole thing, these were for;

1) Ginger infusion

2) Mackerel pate

3) Puy lentils and sardines

4) Salmon and mango salsa

Another slide of interest is the pyramid of foods used in the Mediterranean diet below showing those foods considered beneficial in combatting arthritis on the left and those contra-indicated on the right.
